Simon Field
Independent Financial Adviser Dip PFS
For more than twenty years, I have advised successful individuals, business owners and partners of leading professional services firms on the financial decisions that shape their lives.
My role is not simply to recommend investments or pensions, but to provide thoughtful, independent advice that gives clients the confidence to make informed decisions throughout their careers and into retirement.
Over the years I have developed particular expertise in working with partners of the Big Four accountancy firms, where financial planning often involves considerations that extend well beyond traditional wealth management. From navigating complex remuneration structures and tax planning to managing investment restrictions and independence requirements, I understand the challenges that accompany senior leadership roles and provide advice that is both practical and technically robust.
As an independent financial adviser, I have access to the whole of the market, allowing recommendations to be based solely on what is most appropriate for each client. Every relationship begins with understanding what matters most to the individual—whether that is achieving financial independence, preparing for retirement, protecting family wealth, or creating a lasting legacy for future generations. Advice is then built around those objectives, adapting as circumstances evolve over time.
Many of my client relationships span decades rather than years. I believe the best financial planning is delivered through long-term partnerships, where trust is built through honest conversations, clear advice and consistent support. My clients value having a trusted adviser who understands not only their finances, but also their ambitions, family circumstances and the wider context in which important decisions are made.
Outside of work, I'm married to Lauren and we're kept busy by our two daughters. When time allows, you'll usually find me on a golf course or following the fortunes of Queens Park Rangers—although one of those pursuits is generally more relaxing than the other.
