Financial Planning for PwC Partners
For more than fifteen years, I have worked almost exclusively with PwC partners across the UK, supporting over 500 individuals at every stage of their partnership journey.
My clients include newly admitted partners, experienced equity partners and members of the UK leadership team, giving me a deep understanding of the financial opportunities and complexities that come with partnership.
The financial position of a PwC partner is unlike that of most senior professionals. Variable remuneration, capital contributions, changing tax liabilities, independence requirements and long-term retirement planning all need to be considered as part of a joined-up financial strategy. Having worked alongside partners for many years, I understand these challenges and the importance of providing advice that is both technically robust and commercially practical.
Over that time, I have built longstanding relationships with the PwC Partner Office, the Partners Tax Team and the Independence (Checkpoint) team. This enables me to ensure that recommendations are aligned with the firm's independence requirements, using solutions that have been reviewed and approved where appropriate. Clients can therefore move forward with confidence, knowing that compliance has been considered alongside their wider financial objectives.
My role is to help partners make informed decisions throughout their careers. This may include building and preserving wealth, managing cash flow around fluctuating income, planning for retirement, protecting families and businesses, or structuring investments in a tax-efficient manner. Advice is always tailored to the individual, recognising that every partner's circumstances, ambitions and priorities are different.
Areas of advice commonly include:
- Retirement and pension planning, including modelling future income requirements.
- Investment planning using solutions compatible with PwC's independence policies, including for partners in restricted or supervisory roles.
- Tax-efficient wealth planning beyond pensions and ISAs.
- Cash flow forecasting and longer-term financial planning.
Protection planning for individuals and families. - Mortgage and lending introductions through trusted specialist advisers.
- Preparing financial information to support annual tax reporting.
- Assistance with ongoing independence compliance and Checkpoint reporting where required.
Many of my relationships span the entirety of a partner's career, from admission through to retirement and beyond. Existing PwC partners are happy to provide references and share their experience of working with me upon request.
