Gordian Wealth Management Ltd (GWML) is a firm of Chartered Financial Planners committed to protecting the privacy of its users and we therefore ask that you please read our Privacy Policy before providing us with any information about you or any other person (Personal Information).

The following is a broad description of the way GWML processes personal information. We process personal information to enable us to provide financial services and advice, to maintain our own accounts and records and to support and manage our employees.

We process personal information about our clients, customers, suppliers and our employees.
Who the information may be shared with
We sometimes need to share the personal information we process with the individual themselves and with other organisations. Where this is necessary we are required to comply with all aspects of the Data Protection Act (DPA). What follows is a description of the types of organisations we may need to share some of the personal information we process with for one or more reasons.

Transfers
It may sometimes be necessary to transfer personal information overseas. When this is needed, information will normally only be shared within the European Economic Area (EEA). Any transfers made will be in full compliance with all aspects of the Data Protection Act.
When required, we may need to pass your personal information to parties located outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) in countries that do not have Data Protection Laws equivalent to those in the UK in order to be able to service you as our client. Where this is the case we will take reasonable steps to ensure the privacy of your information.
Monitoring
Please note that if you communicate with us electronically, including email, telephone or fax, this communication may be monitored and/or recorded to protect the interests of our clients and our business. This includes for the purposes of maintaining customer/service quality standards, detection of and/or prevention of crime and to ensure that GWML’s employees comply with legal/regulatory obligations and our firm’s policies and procedures.
Requests for information and Client Rights
Clients have the right to access their data to rectify incorrect information, to ask to move their data to another data controller, and delete their data if GWML no longer has an appropriate lawful basis on which to retain it. Our firm has the right not to comply with the right to deletion where it has a regulatory responsibility to retain the data against the possibility of a future claim. We are happy to provide you with details of the personal information we process about you. To protect our clients’ personal information we follow strict storage and disclosure procedures which mean that we will require proof of identity from you prior to disclosing such information. We may charge a small administration fee in relation to requests for access to personal information.
